This review is from: Kettler CAT Digger (Sports) My grandson loves this digger - has it in a big pea-gravel patch, and took it to the beach last week. It was fairly easy for the two of us to put together - at 4, he was able to interpret the pictoral instructions and find various parts. The flaws: There is one bolt on the arm that is impossible to finger-tighten, and it took some asking around to borrow an adjustable wrench small enough to use. And the wheelbase could be a little broader. My grandson has to brace with his feet when the arm is extended. Overall, the quality is good. Some of the plastic parts seem perhaps a little lacking in heft, but it's probably good for a couple of years of play. This review is from: Kettler CAT Digger (Sports) My 3 year old son loves this. It's very sturdy and can really dig (in soft dirt or sand only) it won't break ground though. It's easy to maneuver & he fits on it perfectly; in fact it's a little big for him, and he's a big three year old too(45lbs, & 3.5 ft tall) It's the perfect size for my 7 year old who also plays with it. I wish it wasn't so expensive though. As nice as it is, I have to say that it IS overpriced. But if you're like me & know that your kid would love it, you won't be sorry if you get it for him. It is fairly sturdy and easy to use. It hold a decent amount of weight. I could sit on it and I'm 175lbs and it held up. It's a great toy!
